Are you interested in learning more about block play? Join a workshop!

Workshops cover:

• the history of unit blocks
• unit blocks' seemingly infinite educational benefits
• the logistical and practical details of facilitating block play
• the relationship between block play, child development, and education

Workshops are typically offered in a single session, either online or in-person.

Workshops are great for

• Educators who want to use blocks in their classrooms
• Parents, guardians, and families and/or homeschoolers who want to facilitate block play at home

Upcoming Workshops

August Workshops

• Who: Parents & guardians, educators, homeschool educators
• When: Workshops will be scheduled around attendee availability.
  • Available dates will be between August 18 - 30 9am - 9pm EST. All participants will indicate their availability and we'll create workshop times where there is the most overlap.
  • If none of the times work for you, you can get a full refund or a rain check for a future workshop.
  • If you don't receive a scheduling email by Tuesday, August 13, please check your SPAM folder
• Cost: $65 - paid at registration
• Includes:
  • Attendance for 1 person to a 60-minute workshop + 30 - 60 additional minutes of Q+A time (depending on audience interest)
  • Limited time access to the recording of the workshop
  • Selection of Sami's printable PDFs that are referenced in the workshop
  • Sami's email for follow-up questions

FAQs

• What's the refund policy?
  • If you can find any times that work for you to attend the workshop, you can get a full refund
  • If you confirm attendance for a workshop, but something changes and you let me know you can't make it more than 48 hours before the scheduled workshop, you get a full refund (or you can get a rain check for a future workshop)
  • If you confirm attendance for a workshop, but need to cancel less than 48 hours before the scheduled workshop, you can get a 50% refund
  • If you confirm attendance for a workshop and don't show up to the workshop, you are not entitled to a refund
• Are workshops recorded?
  • Workshops are recorded and recordings are shared with attendees after the workshop.
  • Workshop recordings are available for the use of attendees only and for a limited time.
• What age children is the advice I'll get appropriate for?
  • There is no upper limit to enjoying and learning from block play.
  • If you have or are educating children of any age (from birth), the principles and techniques in the workshop will apply to you.
