Small parts & block accessory storage
Storing lots of little things for open ended play can be tricky - in our playroom we make it work with a favorite cubby shelf and a couple of very shallow open shelves on the wall. This is where we store most of our figurines, small world accessories, and open ended loose parts which get used most in block play.
Our shelf is this one from Guidecraft (use sami10 to save) - it comes with 8 fabric bins and we use some of those and have swapped a few out for clear plastic bins to make the materials visible. Here's a link to the plastic bins we have, they fit perfectly into the cubbies. The top of the shelf is also a great storage space. I love this shelf because the footprint is small but the impact for storage is great.

The shallow open shelves are from ikea - here we have 2 (one above the other) we originally used them for hot wheels cars but this storage solution has evolved to be used for all kind of small things!
Here are links to some of the accessories shown in our shelves -

Open ended tubes, cones, and stacking tubes from Homegrown Studio
